ibaAnalyzer preferences for ibaCapture

HMI

These settings refer to ibaCapture-HMI (V1 and V2) (ibaCapture-ScreenCam) only.

CAM

These preferences refer to ibaCapture(-CAM).

When ibaCapture and ibaPDA Servers have connections to multiple networks, it may become necessary to use the “Replace servers …” feature.

In the depicted example, ibaPDA was configured to connect to the ibaCapture Server "HOSTNAME". For the PC running ibaAnalyzer, HOSTNAME could not be reachable over the network, however the address 192.168.123.345 can be reached. When you click “Fill from .dat file”, all ibaCapture server names that are stored in the currently opened measurement file are listed in the "From" column.

Since ibaAnalyzer has been supporting OS Windows 7, an alternative renderer is recommended being used when dealing with older versions (<3.0) of ibaCapture-CAM. When running on Windows 7, this option should be checked to improve quality and performance.

Save credentials on this computer needs to be enabled so login data can be stored by ibaAnalyzer when user management is enabled on ibaCapture Server.

With newer ibaAnalyzer versions, the single video toolbars in each player can be hidden. In that case, there will be a video toolbar in the main ibaAnalyzer toolbar.

The functions are the same as in the individual player controls.

Print options

These options apply to both HMI and CAM videos. Here, the user can setup the layout of the camera views and / or HMI screens on a printout.
