The software package ibaCapture consists of several programs, that can be installed on different computers according to their intended use.

• ibaCapture Server: video recording service, which is installed on ibaCapture Server; installation file on the data medium "iba Software & Manuals": ibaCapture setup v5.x.y.exe

• ibaCapture Manager: Software for the configuration of ibaCapture Server and for displaying live images or video recordings; to be installed on ibaCapture Server. Optionally, the software may also be installed on another PC (at least Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008) with a network connection to ibaCapture Server in order to view live images or replay videos by means of the camera view function. The installation of ibaCapture Manager can be enabled or disabled in the installation process. Uncheck the "Server" option in the installation wizard to install only ibaCapture Manager.

• ibaCapture Player: plug-in required for playing video recordings in ibaCapture Manager, ibaPDA client and ibaAnalyzer. This component is always installed.

• ibaCapture Encoder: This program is part of the ibaCapture Server installation. It is required when using GigE cameras. The video encoder runs as program – not as service! Therefore, the program is placed in the Startup folder and requires an auto-logon user account. See also separate manual ibaCapture GigE.

You will find all the software on the included data medium. In case the ibaCapture programs are not yet installed on the ibaCapture Server PC, please follow the installation guide in chapter Installing ibaCapture software.
