ibaCapture supports PTZ cameras (pan, tilt, zoom). PTZ cameras provide functions for panning, tilting and zooming of the camera via remote control. The movement of the PTZ camera can be controlled in server configuration mode (“Camera configuration” - “Settings” branch) in the "PTZ Configuration" section or by using a joystick, the mouse or via ibaPDA, see chapter Controlling PTZ cameras with ibaPDA. An initial position and several preset positions can be configured for each PTZ camera.

ibaCapture supports the control of the following camera types:

• ONVIF-compatible PTZ cameras

• Axis-IP cameras (with VAPIX log version 3)
