In the section Connection the ibaCapture Server is selected on which a video sequence is to be recorded.

In order to establish a connection to a video server you have two possibilities:

• Enter the computer name or the IP address of the video server computer into the field Address.

• Click on the <Search> button. In the area below all ibaCapture Servers available in the network will be listed with their computer names.

Please note that the search function might fail due to network restrictions concerning multicast messages.

The default port number can usually be retained as it equals the default port number of the video server.

The server in question should then be selected with a mouse click. Click the <Connect> button to connect to the ibaCapture Server. The selected server is shown in the Address field.

The version of ibaCapture will be automatically detected when connected to the server.
