The false color video image from a thermal camera can be added as a regular ibaCapture camera using an ibaCapture module. This description applies to Optris and LAND Ametek camera models.

The temperature values determined by ibaCapture from the images of a thermal camera can be added using an ibaVision input module. No ibaVision installation or ibaVision licensing is required for this.

Procedure

1. Add an ibaVision input module under the ibaCapture interface.

2. Enter the address (computer name or IP address) of the ibaCapture Server.

3. Enter the port number 7351.

4. The entries in the Program and Module fields are filled in automatically.

5. Confirm with <OK>.

The image from the thermal camera is displayed in the ibaPDA client in a camera view. The temperature values appear as analog signals in the signal tree and can be displayed in a trend graph.
