In the General server settings node, you make settings for remote access to the server configuration.

Configuration

The Enable remote server configuration checkbox can be used to enable or disable the remote configuration of this server, even without setting up a user administration.

You can enter an alias name for the server in the Server alias field. The server is displayed under this alias name in the server overview in ibaCapture Manager.

Access logging

Certain actions (e.g., PTZ operations, opening a livestream) are logged in separate access log files. The standard format or the CSV format can be selected as the file format. The retention period for this log file can be set here. The default setting is 30 days.

An alternative (UNC) storage path can be defined for the log files. If user credentials are required for the path, enter the user name and password here.

If the storage path is changed, the old files are moved to the new location.
