For each camera, there is an Info branch, where you can enable/disable the camera, find status information, diagnostics and a camera preview.

Camera name, camera status and camera type are displayed on the left side. To temporarily disable a camera (e.g. for test purposes or to setup a camera which is not yet physically connected), click the enable/disable button . A disabled camera is indicated by a red button .

On the right side you find the following information.

Camera id on server

The ID is assigned automatically by ibaCapture Server.

Enable the live video when not recording

In those cases ibaCapture is not recording, no live images will generally be provided. If, however, you still want to receive images, you have to check this option.

Camera recording mode

When configuring a new camera, you have to specify the camera recording mode, see chapter General information. Here, you can change this setting.

Two user rule

The two user rule can be used to restrict access to a camera by requiring two users to log in. You can enable or disable the setting here. See also Video viewing with active two user rule.

Status tab
  • Camera status can be: OK, disabled, recording blocked or disabled, no connection.

  • The recording time is displayed for each camera:

    • Continuous recording (unprotected recordings)

    • Protected recording (e.g. by video triggers)

The time is given roughly in days, followed by the first time (earliest available recording date) and the last time (most recent available recording date).

Video triggers

The number of video triggers refers to the number of triggered recording sequences. The number is 0 (zero) when only continuous recording is/was used.

Main stream

Current resolution, frame rate, video bit rate of the camera. The main stream is being recorded.

Alternative Stream 1 / 2

Current resolution, frame rate, video bit rate of the currently active alternative live stream.

Video information

The bar graph for segments shows quota of free disk space (white), continuous recordings (orange) and triggered recordings (green). The corresponding percentage is shown below the bar graph.

The table shows all stored sequences with file names, start and end time.

Dignostics tab

The Diagnostics tab provides information about the camera as well as frame and bit rates. A trend view shows the bit rate trend over the last two minutes.

Preview tab

The Preview tab provides a preview of the camera. If you move the mouse over the top right corner of the preview window, two sliders appear for adjusting contrast and brightness of the camera.
