“Key frames only”

In order to save system resources, you can limit the data stream for the camera view to the key frames. The key frames are the first images of the GOPs( see also chapter Glossary). As a result, cameras in “key frames only” view mode will show less fluid motion images. To do so, the following options are available in the “Key frames only” context menu:

  • All: all cameras are limited to show only key frames

  • None: video for all cameras is shown with all images

  • All but the selected ones: only selected cameras show all images, unselected cameras only show key frames
