In order to add a new camera click Add new camera in the ribbon.

A configuration wizard guides you through the configuration process:

Step 1: Camera information, settings are described in chapter General information

Step 2: Camera settings - Configuration; the settings depend on the selected camera type, ­camera specific settings are described in chapter Camera settings

Step 2: Camera settings – Streaming; settings are described in chapter Streaming ports

Step 3: Storage settings; settings are described in chapter Storage settings

When configuration is completed, the cameras appear in the configuration tree.

Each camera branch has three main sections:

• Info (camera name and type, deactivation option, camera recording mode, camera diagnostics). For detailed information, see chapter Camera info.

• Settings (camera access, video configuration, streaming, PTZ configuration). The settings for the different camera types are described in the subchapters of chapter Camera settings.

• Storage configuration, you find detailed information in chapter Storage settings.

You can change the order of the cameras in the configuration tree by selecting a camera and dragging it to the desired position using drag & drop.
