Problem

ibaCapture-ScreenCam is started under Windows in the environment of a logged-in user. This is different from other iba products, which are started as a system service by default.

When ibaCapture-ScreenCam is started, network ports are opened for general communication and for a first screen camera. The program always uses the same port numbers for this.

Remedy

On systems where several users log on at the same time (e.g. terminal servers), it may be necessary to configure the network ports specifically for each user. This is necessary because the same port number can only be opened once on each system.

The correspondingly adapted ports must then also be taken into account when configuring virtual cameras on an ibaCapture Server.
