Position and size of an element will be defined in the Location tab.

Layout

The Location tab appears when an instrument is selected on the left side of the tree. Position and size will be defined in percentage. The percentage value can also refer to another element which is chosen with Parent. If None is chosen, the element itself is the reference size.

The position of the element can also be changed by shifting in the preview.

Orientation

For linear instruments, an additional orientation can be chosen in the dialog Position. With the setting Automatic, the orientation refers to the height and width which has been defined in Layout.
