The following new functions and improvements are available in ibaPDA from version 8.11.0.
AMEPA interface
The new bi-directional AMEPA interface is suitable for measured data acquisition of thermographic slag detection from AMEPA TSD measuring devices. Furthermore, you can send process data periodically to the connected AMEPA devices in order to optimize the measurement.
For more information, see AMEPA
A separate documentation ibaPDA-Interface-AMEPA is available too.
ibaNet-E eLumina module
This new module is an interface to an eLumina CCU of GE Vernova (General Electric). The module is based on the ibaNet-E generic connectionless module but supports the specific data types of the eLumina system. Use this module only in conjunction with the ibaN-2E board, in order to take advantage of the full performance of the communication connection.
Virtual functions
New: LastChangeOf
This functions returns the most recently changed value of one or more expressions.
For more information, see LastChangeOf
New: IsProjectModified

GetSystemTime
This function has been extended by two options. Now, you can fetch the system time in Unix time format and you can get the UTC offset in seconds.
Phasor module
This new module in the Analytics area of the I/O Manager calculates the phase, the RMS, the effective frequency and the RoCoF of an input signal. The calculations refer to a given nominal frequency. The module is intended to be applied in the energy sector.
For more information, see Phasor module
Support file
The support file (“information for iba support”) can be created via the command line.
Therefore, the program ibaPdaGenerateSupportFile.exe is delivered with the ibaPDA installer.
For more information, see Support file generation via the command line
S7-Xplorer

Request-S7
S7-Symbolic-Request via ibaBM-PN can now be used on multiple device slots with one single agent.
SNMP server
Authentication algorithms SHA256, SHA384 and SHA512 are now supported.
Authentication algorithms MD5 and SHA have been deprecated.
Encryption algorithms AES192 and AES256 are now supported.
Encryption algorithm DES has been deprecated.
