The various modules of an IEC 61850 device are grouped according to bus type. Click the blue command Click to add module under the respective bus type.

The following module types can be selected with the ibaPDA-Interface-IEC61850-Client license:

• Station bus MMS

• • File module Download, rename and save a COMTRADE file from the IEC 61850 device (according to IEC61850-7-2)

  • MMS module Communication according to IEC 61850 Manufacturing Messaging Specification (MMS) protocol

• Process bus GOOSE

• • GOOSE module Communication according to IEC 61850 Generic Object Oriented Substation Events (GOOSE) protocol

A separate ibaPDA-Interface-IEC61850-9-2 license is required for the Process bus SV (61850-9-2) module. The description can be found in a separate manual.

Select the desired module type, assign a name and click <OK>.

All modules together use the link defined in the superordinate IEC 61850 device.
