Email notifications

This version expands the alarm functionality in ibaManagementStudio. ibaManagementStudio can now automatically send an email notification when an alarm is triggered. For each alarm rule, you can configure email notifications globally and then disable them for individual systems and rules.

To use email notifications, you need an ibaManagementStudio+ license, an SMTP server, at least one sender account, and an alarm rule with at least one email recipient. For more information, see Email notifications.

The email notification specifies the alarm rule, the systems affected and those no longer affected, as well as the alarm history, for example, if the alarm was temporarily cleared and then reactivated.

The email is sent to users listed in the ibaManagementStudio user management. User rights to the systems remain valid for sending emails as well. A recipient must have at least view rights to a system in order to receive emails from it. Also the language specified for each user is used in the email.

You can control the frequency of emails per alarm by adjusting the aggregation time and the cooldown period. During these times, emails are not sent. Instead, events are collected and then sent in a single email, see Email notifications for alarm rules.

New structure of the Alarm page

The Alarm page has been restructured. The three tabs Offline systems, System warnings, and Server alarms replace the previous layout. Each tab displays a counter for the systems that are currently affected.

The server alarms are no longer located in the root folder of the system overview. Instead, they are only available on the Alarm page under the Server alarmstab.

Extended product integration

ibaDaVIS

Starting with version 2.4.0, ibaManagementStudio displays a diagnostics page for ibaDaVIS (version 3.5.0 or later). This page contains information about the service status, the installed version, and the license. You can download support files for ibaDaVIS directly. In addition, a new alarm rule monitors whether the ibaDaVIS service is running.

ibaHD-Server

The Store tab now displays the number of configured time periods per store. Stores that consume an Ultra license display the number of time periods in bold, like in ibaHD-Server.

ibaCapture

Starting with ibaCapture version 5.7.0, the license information displays thermal camera licenses, including the number of licenses and demo status.

Alias information

ibaManagementStudio reads the alias information for ibaPDA server (version 8.14.0 and later), ibaHD-Server (version 3.7.0 and later), and ibaCapture (version 5.7.0 and later). The alias is assigned within the respective software.

You can find the alias information in the general product information at the system level.

Miscellaneous

All pop-up dialogs in the web client can now be moved.

When moving the installer repository, progress is now displayed on a per-file basis.
