In the main menu, under Settings – Server configuration – Email configuration , you can set up the sender accounts that ibaManagementStudio uses to send notifications.
You can use and change the default account, or create a new account with the <Add> button.
Select the account you want to use and activate it using the Enabled switch. Fill out the remaining fields.

Account name: Display names in the rule configuration of ibaManagementStudio

Name/Email address: Sender information for the email to be sent

Select Other for a standard SMTP server or Microsoft Exchange Online for Microsoft 365. With Microsoft Exchange Online, you have to enter Tenant, Client ID , and Client secret instead of Hostname, Username, and Password.

Hostname/Port: SMTP server address and port

Timeout (in milliseconds): Time the ibaManagementStudio server waits for a response from the SMTP server before aborting the send attempt

Security: Connection security options: None, STARTTLS, or TLS. Selecting this option automatically changes the port number to the default (25, 587, 465). You can still change the port later.

Authentication: Authentication method options: None, Automatic, or Required.

Username/Password: SMTP Server Login Credentials

Use this button to test the connection and login to the configured SMTP server. A message appears as a result.

Use as default account: Set this account as the default account.

When you save the settings, one account has to be set as the default account. This account serves as a fallback option if you delete accounts that are specified as senders in alarm rules. |

Log SMTP communication: SMTP communication is logged in the ibaManagementStudio server log for troubleshooting purposes.

Disable SSL certificate revocation check: Skips the certificate revocation check. This feature is only required in restricted networks.
