For device configurations that operate in 32Mbit Flex mode, all modules are shown in the I/O Manager in both the Inputs tab and the Outputs tab.

Depending on which tab you are in, you can only configure either the input or output signals.

The configuration of the outputs is explained below using the iba modular system as an example.

Modules, such as a mixed module with digital and analog inputs and outputs as shown in this example (ibaMS4xADIO), can be added both in the Inputs and the Outputs tab.

To configure the output signals, you must select the Outputs tab.

Depending on the module type, you can define analog and/or digital output signals here.

	Some device modules, which are only intended for outputs, also offer (mostly) digital diagnostic signals in the Inputs tab. You can use these signals to monitor the output function.
