You can configure general settings for the device in the Boards node in the I/O Manager, on the General tab. The settings determine the behavior of the device, for example, in the event of communication errors.

The settings in the ibaFOB-D, ibaFOB-io-ExpressCard and ibaFOB-io-USB section also apply to ibaM-FO-2IO. The option Restart acquisition when a broken ibaNet 5Mbit link is reconnected is not relevant for ibaM-FO-2IO.

Stop acquisition when a broken link is detected

If you enable this option, all fiber optic connections are monitored. If a connection fails, then the acquisition is stopped.

Stop acquisition when a link buffer is empty

If this option is enabled, acquisition will be paused if a link buffer runs empty.

Set signals to zero when a link is broken

Enabling this option sets all measured signals of a link to zero if the connection is interrupted. Otherwise the signal values would show the value at the time of the connection interruption.
