Enter the signals you want to acquire in sequential order in the Digital tab.

The individual columns in the signal list have the following meanings:

Name

You can enter a signal name and additionally two comments when clicking on the icon in the Name field.

Direction

Select the direction from the drop-down menu: O->T: originator -> target T->O: target -> originator

Data Block

The Data Block column is visible only if the CIP Motion profile has been selected in the General tab. The data block of a CIP Motion telegram can contain various types of information that are defined in the EtherNet/IP configuration. See also chapter CIP Motion. The following options are available:

  • Cyclic Actual

  • Cyclic Read/Write

  • Event

  • Service

Address

The byte address of the signal within the input or output data range. The address range always begins with the address 0.

Bit no.

Enter the bit no within the byte defined as “Address“.

Active

Only when this option is selected, the signal is acquired and also considered when checking the number of licensed signals.
