Enter the signals you want to acquire in sequential order in the Analog tab.

The individual columns in the signal list have the following meanings:

Name

Here, you can enter a signal name and additionally two comments when clicking the icon in the Name field.

Unit

Here, you can enter the physical unit of the analog value.

Gain / Offset

Gradient (Gain) and y axis intercept (Offset) of a linear equation. You can convert a standardized and unitless transmitted value into a physical value.

Direction

Select the direction from the drop-down menu:O->T: originator -> targetT->O: target -> originator

Data block

The Data Block column is visible only if the CIP Motion profile has been selected in the General tab. The data block of a CIP Motion telegram can contain various types of information that are defined in the EtherNet/IP configuration. See also chapter CIP Motion. The following options are available:

  • Cyclic Actual

  • Cyclic Read/Write

  • Event

  • Service

Address

The byte address of the signal within the input or output data range. The address range always begins with the address 0.
