The Network diagnostics tab contains information about the network.

The <Reset counter> button resets the contents of the fields that contain a counter value.

Synchronization

The ibaM-COM system is synchronized with a master in the ibaNet-E network.

The following information is displayed:

  • Sync offset: average absolute value of the time offset relative to the synchronization master, with a resolution of 32 ns.

  • Synchronized since: synchronization duration in the format [d].hh:mm:ss

  • Network latency: average network latency (resolution: 1 ns)

  • Network latency (jitter): time deviation of the averaged delay time (resolution: 1 ns)

The following states can be displayed:

  • Not synchronized: The system could not be synchronized.

  • Synchronized: The system is synchronized.

  • HP synchronized: The system is synchronized with an ibaNet-E HP synchronization accuracy.
