In the General tab, you can make basic settings for the module and select the measuring range for each channel.

Basic settings

Module Type (information only)

Indicates the type of the current module.

Locked

You can lock a module to avoid unintentional or unauthorized changing of the module settings.

Enabled

Enable the module to record signals.

Name

You can enter a name for the module here.

Comment

You can enter a comment or description of the module here. This will be displayed as a tooltip in the signal tree.

Module No.

This internal reference number of the module determines the order of the modules in the signal tree of ibaPDA client and ibaAnalyzer.

Timebase

All signals of the module are sampled on this timebase.

Use module name as prefix

This option puts the module name in front of the signal names.

Advanced

Enable diagnostics

If you enable diagnostics (True), the Diagnostics tab is added.

Enable frequency measurement

Select True, if you want to measure power frequency of the connected signals. The Power frequency [10Hz..80Hz] tab is also displayed.

Enable the channel by selecting the measuring range or disable the channel in the dropdown list.

  • Off: Channel is disabled

  • Voltage, ±2.5V

  • Voltage, ±10V

  • Voltage, ±10V HI

  • Voltage, ±24V

  • Voltage, ±24V HI (default)

  • Voltage, ±60V

  • Voltage, ±60V HI

  • Current, ±20mA

  • Current, 0...20mA DC

  • Current, 4...20mA DC
