ibaHD-Server specific user management

For ibaHD-Server, permissions regarding ibaHD-Server and ibaPDA client can be assigned to the users in the User Management tab of ibaHD Manager. You manage the permissions regarding ibaHD-Server in the ibaHD Manager program

For managing the permissions regarding ibaPDA client, you can use the program ibaHD Manager as well as the corresponding dialog in ibaPDA client, if this program is connected to an ibaHD-Server.

ibaHD-Server supports two types of users:

• Local users

• Domain users

The local users are created directly in ibaHD-Server.

The management of domain users is described in chapter User management in a domain with Active Directory using the example of ibaPDA. It applies accordingly for ibaHD-Server, both in ibaPDA client and ibaHD Manager.

Note
	Note that you can only use the user management with one program at a time, i.e. ibaPDA client or ibaHD Manager. If the user administration dialog for a server is open more than once, you will be warned with a message.
