In the last step for the import, you can only enable or disable the following options.

Erase overlapping data before importing

If you enable this option, all data in the HD store that overlaps with the data in the data file is removed before the import is executed.

If you set the check mark, a message appears informing you that no write processes are possible in the HD store if deletion is required.

That is why this option should only be enabled if there is no online recording on the respective HD store by ibaPDA.

Limit throughput to … MB/s

If you enable this option, the data throughput during import is limited to the value set next to it. This may be useful if data from the online acquisition is to be written in the respective destination store at the same time.

Import info fields as text channel

If you enable this option, you can convert info fields from the data file into text channels and assign them to a module with the set number and the name.

You can select the module number and name freely. The module number may not already be contained in the data file.

Proceed as follows to add a text channel:

  1. Click on the green <+> button.

  2. In the “Info field” column, open the drop-down list and select the desired info field. The system’s own info fields as well as all configured text channels (technostrings) will be shown.

  3. If necessary, you can give the text channel a cleartext name in the “Channel name” column, under which the text channel is kept in the HD server.

Then click on <OK> in order to start the import.
