ibaHD-Server offers the possibility of importing existing iba data files in an HD store. In this way, older data sets that were already archived prior to the introduction of ibaHD-Server are transferred to an HD store to benefit from the HD functions. iba data files can only be imported into time-based HD stores.
It is permissible to use the data file import during HD data storage.

Data files can be imported automatically using ibaDatCoordinator (v2.0 or higher). With a so-called ibaHD import task, ibaDatCoordinator monitors the directory in which the data files are written. After completing a data file, ibaDatCoordinator starts the import into the configured HD store.
