The transfer task allows you to transfer files to a remote ibaDatCoordinator instance. The task can transfer either the DAT file currently being processed or the result of a previous task (e.g., a PDF file).

The task-specific settings are explained below. For all other settings, see General task settings.
Target
Server
You can enter the server name manually in the Server field. Alternatively, open the Transfer server selection dialog by clicking the <Select server> button.
In the selection dialog, you can see the list of all transfer servers available in the network. The font color of the server indicates whether the server is running (green) or not (red).
Once you have selected the desired server, you can apply the settings in the client by double-clicking on the corresponding entry or clicking on <OK>. The server list is updated with the <Search> button.
Limit bandwidth
This option allows you to activate the maximum transfer speed. To do this, enter the desired bandwidth in the numeric field and choose between the units "mbps" or "kbps".
Certificate
Here you can select a certificate if encryption of the connection has been configured on the other side.
If you select the “Manage certificates” option, you will be taken directly to the Settings tab. There, you can also import or export existing certificates in the certificate management section. See Settings – Certificates.

The same certificate must be used on both the transfer client (for the transfer task) and the transfer server. When exporting the certificate, the private key does not have to be exported. If you do not want encryption, select the "No certificate" option on both sides. |
Options
Remote path
Here you can select a file path where the data will be stored on the transfer server.
Delete after transfer
Enable this option if you want the file to be deleted from the client after processing.
Create ZIP archive
When enabled, files are converted to a ZIP archive before being transferred.
