In the Processing section, you can set how long ibaDatCoordinator waits after Windows starts before processing DAT files and how many resource-critical tasks are executed simultaneously.

Postpone processing of DAT files until… minutes after Windows starts

This option ensures that Windows and all important applications and services are started before ibaDatCoordinator scans the DAT file directory for unprocessed DAT files.

When Windows starts, all services are loaded first. When the ibaDatCoordinator service starts, ibaDatCoordinator waits for the defined time before the application starts searching for unprocessed DAT files.

This prevents connection problems with services that have not yet been started, such as database and network connections or printer drivers.

Maximum number of recource critical tasks that can be executed simultaneously

With this setting, you can limit the number of the tasks to be processed in parallel that are resource critical. There is a high demand on resources if you process complex analyses with high volumes of data in the tasks, e.g. comprehensive reports with FFT analyses.

Because multiple instances of ibaAnalyzer can be started when processing tasks in parallel, the number should be limited so that the computer does not reach its performance limits. The default setting is 6.
