File

The File menu is mainly used for managing configuration files.

New

Create new ibaDatCoordinator project

All the configured jobs are removed and a new project will be created.

Open

Open previously saved ibaDatCoordinator project (XML file)

Open from backup

Open saved configuration status

Backups are saved with every change to the configuration. A window with all existing backups opens, from which you can select the desired backup or delete backups.

Save as...

Save project as XML file

Exit

Close the ibaDatCoordinator client

If ibaDatCoordinator is installed as service, the service and hence all jobs continue running.

If you have made changes to the configuration that have not yet been transferred to the server, a message appears.

Edit

Apply all, Undo all

The Apply all action applies all changes (complete configuration) to the server, Undo all discards the changes and reloads the last saved server configuration.

You can apply the changes to all jobs, individual jobs, or server settings. See Jobs and tasks.

Cut, Copy, Paste, Delete

You can apply these actions to jobs as well as to tasks. Some of these actions are not available when the job is running. These options are also available in the context menu of the job tree.

View

The View menu contains all functions that are also available in the navigation bar. Also see chapter Navigation.

Language switching is also possible there.

Service

The Service menu is only available if ibaDatCoordinator was installed as a service (client server).

Connect...

Connect the ibaDatCoordinator client to another server, see Start ibaDatCoordinator client.

Start editing

Starts the editing mode

You can only select the menu item if the client is in read-only mode. For further information see Multiple client connections.

Stop editing

Releases the server for processing by another client and sets the client to read-only mode.

Help

In the Help menu, you can open the ibaDatCoordinator documentation as an HTML file. If you press the <F1> key, the help page for the current view opens.

In case of support, you can also create a ZIP file in which all relevant settings and configurations are saved. If ibaDatCoordinator was installed as a service, this ZIP file contains two separate ZIP files: client.zip and server.zip. The latter is generated by the server and transferred to the client site.

You can send this ZIP file to the iba support team in order to get help during troubleshooting.

You will also find information about the application itself and its version history here. Clicking “Version history” opens a file that documents new features, improvements, and bug fixes.
