If you have a ZIP file of the new software version available (e.g. after a download), unzip it into any (temporary) directory. You will find the file for ibaDatCoordinator on the "iba Software & Manuals" data medium in the 01_iba_Software\ibaDatCoordinator directory.

You have the following options for installing ibaDatCoordinator:

• Installation with installation wizard

  See Installing and updating ibaDatCoordinator.

• Installation via command line

  This approach is helpful for central software administration or when using deployment systems. You can control how the installation is performed and which components are installed using the command line switches that are set after calling the installation program.

  You can find an overview in Notation for installation via command line.

If an older software version is already installed, you can simply install the new version. The older version of the program is automatically removed after a query and confirmation. Settings and configurations made with the older version are retained.
