The following new functions and improvements are available in ibaCMC from version 3.8:
Signal analysis: Compare multiple signals from a data file in an analysis
In the left pane of the signal analysis window, there is a new tab labeled Signals.
This tab lists all the signals contained in the data file on which the trend analysis is based. The main signal for which the signal analysis was opened is highlighted in bold. You can add additional signals for analysis by checking the corresponding box. The charts for this signal are then added to the chart area according to the selected analysis types. This allows you, for example, to compare the time history or spectra of different signals from the data file.

Signal analysis: Synchronize axes and markers
If you have multiple analysis graphs open in a signal analysis, you can synchronize the settings for the x- and y-axes as well as the markers.
Synchronization means:

Settings or changes made to one x-axis are automatically applied to other x-axes in the same domain (time or spectrum).

Settings or changes made to one y-axis are automatically applied to other y-axes with the same unit.

The positions of markers in one chart are automatically synchronized with other charts in the same domain (time or spectrum).

When zooming in on a chart, the zoom factor is applied to the other chart in the same domain (time or spectrum).
Using a new button on the analysis tile's toolbar, you can enable and disable synchronization and select the items to be synchronized.
If you have multiple tiles open in a signal analysis, you can apply the synchronization settings to all tiles by clicking <Apply to all>.

Signal analysis: microCMU time signal analysis is no longer supported
Signal analysis for time-based signals in a microCMU (Hainzl) is no longer supported, as it is not required for UFM applications.
Trend analysis: Advanced time range selection
The feature for selecting the time period for trend analysis has been expanded to include additional preconfigured time periods:

All data
With this selection, the earliest data point found in the loaded trends is used to determine the start date. The end date is set to the current day. The button <All data> is only available if at least one trend has been loaded.

Last 2 years
The "Today" and "Last 3 Months" selection buttons have been removed.
License information
In the About help window, you will now find the license information in the main tab Device Licenses , separated into CMU licenses and ibaPDA licenses.

Extended EUP information file
The EUP Info file now also contains information about the configured ibaPDAdevices. Under the new EUP licensing model, the sensor count has been changed from "sensors used" to "licensed sensors," and a checksum has been introduced to protect the file against tampering.
New EUP licensing concept
Licensing for the Extended Update Period (EUP) has become more transparent and scalable. EUP licenses are now based on the number of licensed sensors at a high level of granularity.
There are now 16 tiered EUP licenses for sensor counts ranging from 8 to 720, and an "unlimited" license for more than 720 sensors.
All licensed sensors from all CMUs that have ever been connected to ibaCMC are counted. If you no longer use certain devices, they must be removed from ibaCMC so they are no longer included in the EUP calculation.
The former EUP-license products ibaCMC-EUP, ibaCMC-One-Plant-EUP, and ibaCMU-S-One-Sensor-EUP are no longer available.

New certificate management
TLS certificates are used to ensure secure, encrypted communication between ibaCMC and ibaPDA devices.
You will now configure these certificates during the installation of ibaCMC.
If you select "Standard (recommended)" for the server configuration during installation, another dialog box will open where you can select and configure one of three certificate types. The following certificate options are available:

Self-signed certificate (default)A self-signed certificate is created and used. You can set the validity period. The default value is 5 years, but you can also select 2 years or enter a duration in days using the Custom setting.

Certificate file (PFX file)Select this option if you want to use your own certificate. If you want to use your own certificate, you must provide the PFX file and enter the path to the certificate and the password here. iba AG recommends storing the certificate in the folder …\ProgramData\iba\ibaCMC\Server\ca.

Windows Certificate Store:In this setting, you can reference an existing certificate in the Windows Certificate Store to use it for the web server. You can still choose which certificate store to use (personal/public) and where the storage path is located.
Configuring certificates via the appsettings.json file is therefore no longer required. However, this option remains available for
specific use cases.
Bahavior of certificates when updating from version v3.7.3 to v3.8.0
When updating to version v3.8.0, how certificates are handled depends on the configuration used previously.

Self-signed certificateIf a self-signed certificate was used previously and the installation was performed without any modifications, the setup creates a new self-signed certificate. This certificate is valid for five years.

Certificate file (PFX-file)If a PFX certificate has already been used, it will be automatically migrated to the new certificate structure and adopted without interruption.

Windows Certificate StoreAutomatic migration is not available for certificates that were configured through the Windows Certificate Store. In this case, please contact Support.
