The logbook contains all events triggered by items in the plant tree (e.g., configuration changes) as well as entries that were created manually.

To open the logbook, click the corresponding icon in the menu:

When you open the logbook, ibaCMC displays all logbook entries with the status “open” by default.

By default, the display is in list format. Each logbook entry has a colored bar on the left that indicates the level:

  • Blue = Info

  • Yellow = Anomalous

  • Red = Critical

Beside the title, more information is included, such as

  • Plant path

  • Type

  • Date

  • User name

  • Tag

  • Status

The list can be filtered by criteria such as status, level, type, and creator. A search function based on title or asset name is also available to help you find specific entries. If desired, you can switch the view to table format by clicking the icon in the header.

To filter data in the table view, you can use the familiar functions in the column headers.

To load the log entries for a plant tree item, you can drag and drop it onto the corresponding field in the header. In the following example, the “Fan” component group is selected.

After that, only log entries associated with the selected item will be displayed. By default, child items are also displayed. If you do not want this, you can turn it off.

You also have the option to select child or parent items for display. To do this, click the three-dot menu in the header and choose whether you want to display the log entries for child and/or parent items alongside the selected item.
