If you open the help menu in the caption of ibaCMC and select About, you get information about the licenses of your ibaCMC installation.
Moreover, there is the Device licenses tab.
This tab lists the license information for all CMUs and CMU modules from the system tree in tabular form.
The information is spread across two subsequent registers:
-
CMU licenses, ibaCMU-S with modules only
-
ibaPDA licenses, ibaDAQ, and ibaM-DAQ with modules
CMU licenses
This tab contains information about the older ibaCMU-S models. Their licensing differs from that of the newer CMU models, ibaDAQ and ibaM-DAQ.
Licensing information is generally not available for CMU modules, since licensing is handled within the CMUs.
In addition to the CMU serial numbers, you'll find more information here about the available and used licenses.
In the Channel licenses columns, you will find information on how many channels (IEPE, General (AI), or DO) are configured or in use out of the total number of licensed channels.
In the Licensed Modules columns, you can see whether modules such as TCP, ibaNet750, or Virtual Channels are licensed (green check mark) or not (red X).
ibaPDA licenses
This tab contains licensing information for ibaPDA-based CMUs such as ibaDAQ and ibaM-DAQ.
In addition to the CMU serial numbers, you will find information here about the installed ibaPDA version and the license container ID.
In the IEPE Sensors columns, you can see the total number of IEPE sensors permitted under the license, and next to that, the number actually in use.
Accordingly, the ibaPDA signals columns show the number of licensed signals and the number of signals actually in use.
