Insert DIN-rail clip on the back of the device into the rail at the top.

Press the device downwards and backwards until it snaps into the DIN-rail.

If there is the provision in the plant that the device has to be grounded, then connect the device to the ground (shield connector X29).

Connect the DC 24 V power supply. Observe the correct polarity.

Establish the following connections:

Fibre optics to the ibaPDA system (unidirectional or bidirectional depending on the mode of operation)

Network connection via Ethernet TCP/IP (in compatibility mode 32Mbit)

Connecting the PROFIBUS cable A conflict between several slaves with the same number can lead to a complete failure of communication on the PROFIBUS and even to a system shutdown. To ensure that there are no duplicate slave numbers, do not connect the PROFIBUS cable until the configuration of the active slaves has been correctly carried out in ibaPDA. |
