The following chapters provide a detailed example of how to create a report layout using the Report Designer. In the Report Designer, you can create the layout for your report and insert text, signal curves, and information fields.

Prerequisite
You have already specified all the necessary data in the Report dialog. Changes made there are automatically passed on to the Report Designer.
If you use the analysis from the example on the data storage medium "iba Software & Manuals", all the data is already set up correctly.
Report Designer launch
In the Report dialog on the Report Settings tab, you can open the Report Designer using the <Edit report layout> button.
Please note that the Project Wizard is not used in this example. Skip these settings using <Cancel>.

If you have changed variable names in the ibaAnalyzer Report dialog that are already being used in the report design, an error message will appear in the Report Designer. In the layout preview or preview in the Report Designer, you will then see only the former variable name instead of a value. Then correct the variable in the Report Designer or in the Report dialog. |
