When starting the Report generator, the default view is the Report setup tab.

The upper part of the window contains general settings and a button to launch the combit "List & Label Report Designer".

Report

You can save the report design as LST file. To open an existing report, use the browser button <…> to select a path and an LST file. To create a new report, leave this field blank.

Number of pages

Specify the number of pages for the report that you want to print or save to a file. Even if you create more pages in the Report Designer, only the number of pages specified here will be printed. The number of pages increases only automatically if the report contains a dynamic table.

Alternatively, you can open the expression builder by clicking the <fx> button and enter a formula to calculate the page count. This is useful if the number of pages should depend on the signals in the DAT file.

When you have configured all other settings in this dialog, such as selecting graphs or info fields, click this button to start the Report Designer. For more information, see Layout creation in the Report Designer.

Exported graphs area

Select the signal graphs you want to display in the report. Each graph from the recorder window is stored here as a table entry. When you click on a row, a preview of the corresponding graph is displayed.

To use the graphs in the report, select the respective graphs in the Exp column.

In the Report variable name column, enter a unique name for the selected signal graphs. This name then appears as a variable name in the Report Designer.

The selected signal graphs are available in the Variables/Fields list in the Report Designer.
