Basic settings
For a description of the basic settings see Common and general module settings.

Please note, that the timebase (basic settings) must be at least ten times higher than the timebase of the input signal. Example: Timebase input signal = 1 ms --> timebase phasor module ≥ 10 ms |

Phasor
Calculation timebase
Interval for the calculation of the phasor values
In order to store all calculations, the calculation timebase must be at least equal to the module timebase (basic settings).
Further limitations are subject to the properties of the input signal. For instance, the calculation timebase must be equal to half the period of the nominal frequency or higher.
Value samples:
-
50 Hz .... ≥ 10 ms
-
60 Hz .... ≥ 10 ms (because values <10 ms are not allowed)
-
16.7 Hz .... ≥ 30 ms
The higher the calculation timebase, the narrower is the allowed frequency deviation between input signal and nominal frequency.
A timebase of 250 ms allows a deviation of ± 2 Hz from the nominal frequency
A timebase of 100 ms allows a deviation of ± 5 Hz from the nominal frequency.
The allowed range of calculation timebase is between 10 ms and 250 ms.
Phase unit
Select here if the phase calculation results in degree (range [-180°...180°]) or radians (range [-π...π]).
Nominal frequency
Enter here the nominal frequency of the input signal, which is used as reference for the phasor analysis.
ibaPDA generates internally a sinosoidal signal with this frequency as reference signal for further calculation.
Value samples: 50 Hz, 60 Hz oder 16.7 Hz
