Using the email output interface, emails can be sent each time a trigger signal is triggered and whenever acquisition is started and stopped.

Therefore, users can be notified automatically, e.g., in the case of an alarm. You can also use current signal values and text in the email as well as send attachments (still images from an ibaCapture system or other files).

The email interface is part of the standard scope of ibaPDA and does not require an additional license. ibaPDA has an integrated email client that can connect to any SMTP server on the network or the Internet. The system supports TLS communication to SMTP servers as well as OAuth 2.0 authentication.

The interface supports up to 256 different emails that use different accounts and can be addressed to various addressees and/or have different content. Various emails can be sent with the same trigger signal or individual trigger signals. A module must be configured for each email.

The accounts, as well as some placeholder fields, must be set up on the “Email“ interface node beforehand to transmit selected signal values.
