The node System information offers some information about the ibaPDA server computer. The display of the server name derives from the Windows computer name.

The information is stored in the I/O configuration file.
Alias
If needed, you can assign an alias to the computer, which is, for example, more intelligible than the host name. This alias will also be available on client side in the Select server dialogs in the Search and Favorites tabs and hence, helps to identify the desired server.
The other information Location and Description is displayed in the tooltip.
Location
Enter a clear denomination for the location where the computer is installed, e.g. describing text or a standardized location designation (+ ...).

Enter more describing information here, if needed.
