When updating an ibaPDA installation, the previous version is uninstalled first. When uninstalling the old version, the installer checks for open ibaPDA clients at this time. In the course of a standard installation, a dialog pops up in this case requesting the manual termination of the client. In the course of a “Silent mode” installation, the installation will be interrupted without notice.
This switch allows to terminate an eventually open client automatically along with the installation. This may cause the loss of configuration changes of the client, which have not yet been saved. You may use this switch in scripts facilitating the automatic installation of new ibaPDA versions.
